Our Beverage Director:

Maxi Luque

Crafting a cocktail menu inspired by ingredients from our culture was a meticulous endeavor, demanding a deep understanding of cocktail-making history in the Río de la Plata region, alongside sourcing ingredients and raw materials in Los Angeles. Alto partnered with Maxi Luque, an award-winning Argentine mixologist renowned for representing our culture on the global stage. Leveraging his expertise, Luque brought forth his creativity to Alto Bar, proudly showcasing his signature cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, as a testament to his unparalleled creativity and dedication to our cultural heritage.

Our Pastry Chef:

Micaela Daverede

The pastries from our region stand apart from those found elsewhere in the world. Incorporating dulce de leche in a fancy manner posed one of the most significant challenges for this project. Alto successfully crafted a dessert and pastries menu, executed by Micaela Daverede, a talented young Uruguayan chef who honed her skills in the finest cafés of Montevideo.
